About Us

In December of 2021. Duncanwas adopted from a local rescue in Weeki Wachee. Florida. We immediately fell in love with him, he was the answer to our prayers and we adopted Duncan at 7 weeks old. Four days later he contracted the Parvo Virus, a deadly disease that we could not help him fight, even with many days of treatment. He was not able to fight hard enough, as he was just so tiny. We were all so devastated when he crossed the rainbow bridge.

As tragic as it was we knew we had to do something to make people more aware of this contagious, deadly virus. We created a non-profit organization in memory of Duncan and Our Mission is to create a monetary fund to HELP other animals in NEED. We will work tirelessly to make a difference in Duncan's name. Duncan is no longer with us but will NEVER be forgotten, and Furever in our Hearts. His life will always MATTER.

My mom came to the shelter twice a week to visit the FOUR of us. She called me Duncan. My mom is a great net-worker. Her friend, actually my aunt Rosa adopted two of my brothers. Mom called us the Quads and my other two brother the Twins. Mom”s other friend Luz adopted my other brother. We were all going to the BEST homes that anyone could have. They were all so excited to have FOUR grow up together. We were all adopted at 7 weeks old with no vaccines. We were not protected from the Canine Parvo Virus. One week prior to picking the FOUR of us up we were moved to a foster home. Four days later I contracted the Parvo Virus, a deadly disease and thankfully my brothers did not. They immediately started treatments on me. Needless to say, I wasn’t able to fight hard enough and didn’t make it. My mom and dad were devastated. Mom told me I would always matter and would always be remembered.

This is how she came up with the idea for a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, Dollars Four Duncan Hardship Funding, Inc. she wanted to turn something so tragic and negative into something positive. Their mission is to create a monetary fund to HELP other animals in NEED.

Duncan is no longer with us but he will never be forgotten and will always be in our HEARTS.
